This position is a key member of the Finance Team, reporting to the Controller.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & INNOVATION:

• Elevate existing financial processes, ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Leverage and embrace technology to create efficiencies

• Lead and manage processes to become an expert source of information company wide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations and maintain financial controls
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close procedures
• Perform revenue recognition and month-end journal entries
• Manage project accounting, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and revenues
• Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payments to employees
• Lead accounts payable processes, including corporate credit card reconciliations
• Post cash transactions and maintain cash flow records
• Review and approve expense reports in compliance with company policies
• Assist with project closeout and billing processes as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA a plus but not required. In-process licensure supported
• 1-5 years of progressive experience in accounting
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proven ability to learn and become expert in new software
• Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations a plus

Ideal candidates will have a strong desire to exceed expectations and drive results while demonstrating exceptional time management skills in meeting deadlines.
